ReLEAF participated in the 12th European Symposium on Biopolymers (ESBP 2025), held from 1–3 October in Lisbon. The event brought together researchers, industry professionals, and specialists working on the latest advances in biopolymers.
ESBP2025 focused on scientific progress, innovation, and collaboration in the field. Across three days, attendees took part in lectures, workshops, poster sessions, and discussions covering a wide range of biopolymer-related topics, while also having opportunities to connect with colleagues from across the world.
ReLEAF was represented by project partner NOVA.ID, who presented a poster showcasing work from Work Package 1. The contribution highlighted ongoing research on producing polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) using fruit residues and nutrient-exhausted sewage sludge as feedstocks.
The event provided a valuable platform to share ReLEAF’s progress and engage with the wider biopolymer research community.
